This double album (part 1 and 2) was recorded at The Rendezvous Cafe in Bridgetown, Western Australia in December 2011 after nearly eight years of non-stop touring (and just after I met Gary).
The best way to listen to this recording (which goes for about an hour and a half) is to create an atmosphere similar to the small town venues which we love playing in the most.
I.e take a night off, get comfy, grab a drink, and settle in for an experience.
The intimate nature of this gig (nine audience members including bar staff) will make you feel like you're there too.
You may even start heckling.
WARNING: My comedy is not for everyone.
But for those who get to the end of this recording and enjoyed it, feel free to support us via the' BUY NOW - Name your price' button.
All proceeds will go towards keeping us on the road... hopefully to a town near you.
Review from Trevor Conomy:
"I saw Jimbo doing stand up at a pub in Newcastle about a year ago and I am still recovering from the experience.
His material is outrageously crude, course, filthy and vulgar... and very, very funny.
He pushes it way beyond the limits of good taste, and hooray for that.
While it would be impossible for him to do this act at, say, a church social, it is strange that he has been barred from so many established comedy venues around the world.
Jimbo's material is blue - the bluest I've ever heard from a stand up - but his shtick is neither offensive nor malicious. You come away from the show really liking him.
Catch Jimbo if you can, but don't bring grandma with you."
